Projects

As an explorer, my work has touched multiple industries and disciplines. My strengths of problem solving, relationship building and collaboration now get to be channelled through tactile, human-centered design. Enjoy this preview and look for more projects to come.

Fiber

Skinn Design

A brand of renewable textiles designed to connect the consumer to nature through active participation in closing the loop on textile waste.

Data Visualization

Gathering data of my self-talk through voice recordings, transcription, analyzing and categorizing the data and finally turning this very personal and internal dialogue into a tangible object.

Social Innovation

Known

A Masters’ thesis project centered on understanding the difficulties single members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the New York City area face surrounding the subject of sexuality and identity. Through building relationships with those members, experts in the field of sexuality, and religious leadership, plans to hold a conference began to take shape. The COVID-19 pandemic thwarted our plans to gather, but progress was still made.

Wheatpaste in the LES

We are complex layers of beauty, trauma, love, angst, hate, disappointment, hope; all deserving to be known by care-ful, deep and reflective examination.

A psychedelic pattern created from a personal photo became my first wheatpaste graffiti in the Lower East Side in NYC.

Always Grow: BFA Textiles

Influenced by global design and nature, this project was centered in growth. To quote my original artist statement, ”The most exciting part of the project is that it will keep growing…this is not the end.” As is evidence of the pillows of Skinn Design. Here is to always growing.
