About us

Danielle Skinn is a multi-disciplinary designer, researcher and artisan. She remembers pouring over the bedding in mail order catalogs while growing up in a small Montana town. Years of research, making, testing and training led her to align her own textile brand with her values of transparency and quality. Inspired by nature, the current state of our world and possibilities in our future, her textiles are designed to slow down our desire for more and turn our consciousness toward replenishing. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University-Idaho and an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Wool is a renewable source; the first use as a fiber for textiles dates back to 1500 B.C.E. because it naturally exists in nature through those kind animals we call sheep. It can naturally return top the earth if it is produced, cared for, and disposed of consciously. Using it upholds thousands of years of history and ensures the possibilities of our collective future.
